Here are the couches and the inspiration for the bookshelves. Instead of the cutout for the door, the bookshelves will be shaped around the chaise for a little reading nook.

really looks too tight in walk ways & in center between furniture. I can't visualize the "chaise" with the picture of couch you posted. Have you tried taping off floor for walkways around backs of furniture & also in center between the couches? Where can a person sit to see tv? One couch at right angle to TV & looking at bar, the other couch at right angle to that couch & view of TV blocked by people sitting on bar facing couch. Might have to empty the room to do the tape off but it would give you a better feel and visual of space allowance. Just feels too tight & with heavy furniture

Overdue update. We shrunk down the furniture and divided the room into two areas. Sofas are being made in navy leather and chairs are TBD. We also switched over to built-in bookshelves instead and couldn't be happier with the almost-done result.

@Mrfourpointo Very, very nice! Love the built in shelving - the the color of inset wall, the lighting, the curved shape. Did you stay with your inspo couch style with tufted back? Looks like you’ve made great changes to the layout & will have full use of all the space in this large room. It will be a great space to hang out & also for entertaining.
