Where to sell this Fireplace Mantel?

Can you help identify the style of this Fireplace Mantel? And, perhaps suggest where we might sell it to someone who appreciates it more than we do? We just moved in the SF Bay Area. The mantel is resting on the wall of the hearth, doesn't seem to have ever been installed. There are no markings on the back. The former owner went for country french decor and prided herself a savvy antique collector. She purchased this in the Bay Area, but the details are lost to history. It is probably obvious to some of you but, I'd also appreciate sources or tips on how to discern if it is antique or reproduction. Its lovely, has such warm tones and detail. Thanks in advance.

Is the fireplace electric? You might be able to sell it on-line or to a salvage shop.

Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist and you could also take a picture of it to local architectural salvage stores and they might help sell it. You could also donate it to Habitat Restore or a local non profit that has a storefront (e.g. St. Vincent DePaul, Goodwill).

If you are thinking this mantle might be vintage, I don't think you are correct. Kevin has given you options for marketing it. I'm sure the Bay Area also has at least a couple of salvage warehouses that will take it off your hands.
