That wood panel .. do you want to keep or can you toss? Also, is that wall paper in the background?

No it is sponge paint! I thought when we did our walk through that it was dirt and was horrified, but it is gold sponged on cream. Absolutely horrid.

I assume you are talking about the wood panel in the "bonus room" - check out the ideabook for comments on that image.

I haven't thought much about the wood paneling. Could be replaced I assume.

@river valley cabinet works: naw, it has a solid foundation, and will be livable with help. Building new on the central coast exceeds our budget quite extensively. This is our first home, and it is already costing us an arm and leg because of location.
