I would put an upper cabinet with lower shelves. You need to hook up your dryer vent.

I had a new dryer vent installed behind the dryer so I wouldn’t have to run it run offsets to that location.

What is the depth from back wall to door casing? If it's less than 24" then an upper cabinet with folding table and shelf beneath will be easier and cheaper.

Agree with latifolia, a folding table next to dryer is great, so convenient to fold clothes as they come out to the dryer.

Shelves. The open shelves will also give access to the electrical outlet. Sooner or later you'll need to unplug it for service. Open shelves on standards can be easily removed when you need access to the back of the washer and dryer, for example, when you need to clean out the dryer duct once a year for fire safety.
