Window Coverings: Multiples windows & door - Need advice

Hi. I need new window coverings for my bedroom. My dilemma is how to cleanly and elegantly cover all the windows and the door. I feel roller shades are too stark and not warm enough for the space. There's a retractable screen door that is attached to the inner door frame.

I would put one long curtain rod above door and windows and have a wall of curtains when closed.

If the light doesn't bother you leave the upper window uncovered, or consider hanging a stained glass piece there.

The upper window I would get a solar shade that just snaps in to place and leave it . As for the rest a long rod and drapes across a the windows and the door you have space for stack back on both sides and I always like drapes in bedrooms and IMO daytime privacy is not usually an issue in bedrooms so I don’t think you need anything else.

I would say roller shades can be warm. The composition of our roller shades help maintain the warmth in your house; these can also protect you from sunlight and sun heat during the day. So, I would say you can add blackout shades for privacy and on top you can have light filtering shades. Blackout is more for privacy, whereas light filtering is for letting the sun enter. Zebra Fabric Blinds are an option.

Duette Up / Down Blinds are an option.

A continuous pole with drapes that slide to the side.

I'm not sure if you've seen honeycomb shades? I was going to go with roller shades initially but decided on the honeycomb. I love that you can raise the bottom or lower the top, plus depending on the material/textile you select, it lets through a little light. I met with a few different companies and picked 3 Day Blinds because they had the best price. I really like Smith and Noble's product as well.

Also, I have a family member that went with custom woven wood shades and they look great if you want to add some warmth. This is a pic from Smith and Noble.
