greek villa will be fine. But it is a dingier shade of white. if the room gets good lighting, it should be fine.

TV on wall left of fireplace above a credenza 25% wider than the TV. One three seat sofa perpendicular to FP and facing the window. Two chairs facing the fireplace and perp to the window, all anchored with a large rug. Sofa table behind sofa. Tall casegoods opposite fireplace. Art no wider than the fire box opening 5" above the mantel. Extend the curtain rod past the window so you can hang drapes against the wall and frame but not covering the glass.

credenza is a sideboard or cupboard I think here it means a TV console

Would a sectional work??

A sectional would be great. Just not sure if the one you have will date the space. Probably workable if you want to keep it. I would definitely add molding all over and would probably paint a warm white. ( much brighter than the one you chose) I also agree about the lighting and rug and the layout Beth h suggested. Are you open to opening up the wall between the living room and I believe it’s your dining room. I think it would make a HUGE difference

it's up to you, but I think the less is more. We can put a bookcase which is used to put books. In addition to it, we can put a bigger projector on the wall to watch the movie. A larger computer desk is necessary，we can put some flowers on the table.
