Hi, I just recently bought a big (well, about 5ft tall) beautiful Franklin tree at a local nursery. I have read that they do well in full sun to part sun. I could plant it in either kind of a spot, and I was just wondering if anybody had any advice on which would be better? Also any other tips about growing it successfully, as I understand its not considered to be the easiest tree in the world to grow. I'm in zone 6 (not sure if a or b), Central NJ.
