You could try swapping the Lavs and shower, then the water closet will have some more privacy. Maybe even bring the 2x6 wall out past the shower end a touch. There will also be enough room in the 2x6 wall for cabinets on the toilet side. The lower door will only open partially against the toilet, but its enough room for extra TP, tissues, linens. Leave the 2x6 wall shorter than the ceiling and you can put a plant or two on top of the wall.

I like this layout. It’s standard regular works well layout. Just one question why is there a wall after the tub? Just flip the tub the other way and remove the wall.

Yes, I like that new one. There’s wall space for towels within reach of the tub, and you don’t walk into a wall upon entering the room.

You might not need a 6" thick wall on one end of the tub but even if you need I think you have enough room to add a shallow cabinet and get a vanity that can store the towels under.

Updated plan looks like it works better, also finding a vanity with extra storage space would be a must.. we have some solid options.

BTW, if you put a cabinet where my blue rectangle is, you can mount hooks on the side of it. Also, if you like more storage, I would choose a 6'6" and 2'6" space for the toilet.

Note that if you think one will enter the bathroom when the other person is already inside, you may want to consider a pocket door if you put a cabinet on the tub wall, just in case some one is standing in front of the cabinet.

I would recommend putting the vanity where the bathtub is and the bathtub running down along the right hand side wall. This way you can place a suitably size storage cabinet between the toilet and bath which will create privacy between the two. It also ensures the bathtub and toilet are less visible upon entering the room. If the extra cupboard between the toilet and bathtub still does not provide enough storage space, you could consider moving the two basins closer to each other and then transforming the bench into an L-shape design with more cupboards running along the left hand side wall.
