I have been using 20 Mule Team for a few years, and recently bought a box of Arm & Hammer booster when the 20 Mule Team was sold out. Both products say they neutralize odors, and I am starting to wonder if they inhibit some of the natural scent of Gain. Before I started using the boosters and was only using Gain and Downey FS, people were commenting on how good our bathroom towels and hand towels smelled. Then I switched to Tide thinking the Gain was not cleaning well enough. I reasoned the booster would increase the cleaning power of the Gain, so switched back to it. Now I am wondering if boosters are counteracting the detergent's scent I want the finished laundry to have.
