I need to see the whole room and honestly cannot imagine a laundry room is the space a DR used to be so maybe a floor plan too. Where are th W/D . Post pics of the whole space.

It's more of a laundry/crafting/storage space, not purely laundry. We ended up moving the sink to the far side, near the small window. The W/D are where the sink is in this photo. The dark gray section of ceiling in this floor plan is a foot lower than the white section of ceiling.

The room is still under construction but I want to start figuring out how to dress the windows without losing privacy. The two larger windows are very close to the cabinets, and they were originally in a dining room, so they are low to the floor. The small window in is the original laundry room window. It's higher on the wall and the ceiling height is lower than the other part of the room.

Outside mount shades - roller or roman - all mounted at the same height. This example uses curtains.

I like that idea but my lower windows are so close to the wall of cabinets that I don't think I can make it work.

I like the table you have in the graphic- kind of breaks up the space in a nice way. And would also be handy to use from the laundry or the fridge side. Considering the utilitarian nature of the room, you might want to keep it fairly simple with blinds or shades rather than using curtains.

Keep the ceiling basic with a white tone. Depending on what kind of crafting you do, you might want that room to be as basic white as possible so you aren't throwing color on your projects. You might want/need to bump up your lighting too.
