My client has an Amerisleep mechanical bed that they love...... I am now decorating their master bedroom and now of the issues is that when the bed is mechanically put in the upright position- it moves the bed out about 30” away from the wall - meaning the bedside table can hardly be reached and the current wall sconces (horribly placed to begin with ) are not illuminating the bed for reading!!! I know I will need to find a very long arm sconce -or have lights hang from the ceiling...Has anyone encountered this problem and found a creative solution? The space on the side s of the bed is 30” max.......may need to find bedside options with a pull out shelf.......
