It is always possible to tweak grout if there is a reason to do So. Integrate darker surfaces in the space w a little nod W these lines. Bring in visual interest if there is a need . white grout only if you need the whole surface that Way in my opinion. Maybe a warmer gray but generally you’d want this working w counters too . You can put up cab / counter / and tile and see what folks think.

Thanks....our countertops are quartz with grey in them...the island is a brown tone. The tiles have a ripple effect to them, even though they are a smooth finish. I would not mind a contrast, I just would not want it to be too stark a contrast. I am hearing alot about TEC Silverado....

If possible it might be helpful to have several sample boards made up with the different grouts you like, and put them up in your kitchen against the countertop. I had that done and am glad I did - it made my final decision much easier. Ultimately I chose Mapei Frost, which provides just a little contrast with my slightly off-white tiles.

I have white and will never do it again. Reasons: shows spots and such :to much maintenance for my life style.

thin grout line....not super white but stay light I think....one shade away from white is all.

I like the way this looks now , so i would go with a light silver grout. Since you have such a narrow grout line, I would think it will just become too monochromatic.
