Looking for opinions on adding a supply vent to a small laundry room. Room is approx 80" x 76" - so its just enough room to do laundry and has washer and dryer. Laundry room currently has no supply for ac/heat and this room opens up to the kitchen and a 1/2 bath. The only way to get heat/ac is to keep the door to kitchen and 1/2 bath open. I do have access to basement with a clear path to existing duct that runs to the 1/2 bath and can T off that however due to washer/dryer configuration, floor vent will have to be in front of the dryer, off center on the door side and not under the window behind the washer/dryer. Room is either humid in summer or cooler in winter. Thoughts????
