What do you mean by "those kind won't work"? You should be able to figure out where to place the button switch so that they do work.

I haven’t been able to figure it out because the bi-fold door runs along a metal track at the top.....no space there. The doors do not touch the floor, they do not touch wall either. The button or pin switches do not stick far enough out for the space between the door and wall. At least not that I have found. I was hoping someone who did figure it out would share.

i Bought a led fixtures with a built in motion detector. They come on when you open the door and stay on until no more motion is detected. Much simpler than a mechanical switch .

That’s looking like the way things will go, I just hope gravity doesn’t cause something to shift in the middle of the night.
