Post photos.

sorry it is not done yet, only in the plans

the blue will be the new door placement. it transitions between multiple flooring. can not take wood out. for reasons that it goes through out the house and stairs. replacing the gray tile but will still be a giant contrast

Floors should follow demarcation of rooms/spaces. Windows and doors as well. Something's gotta give here.

Can you add tile to where your patio door will end?

If it were me, I would try to cut back the wood floor (not full removal...just remove it to the edge of the door) and tile the rest. If the transition is awkward because the wood runs down the hallway (we will need another photo of the rest of the space) then the wood/tile intersection can be at an angle.

If neither of those are a possibility, the next best thing is to add MORE wood into the area (ie in front of the door) and reduce the amount of tile. Entrance mats can/will be used in front of the entrance = no issues with damage.

And if THAT isn't an option (for whatever reason....we need more pics) then simply put the sliding part of the door to the LEFT...ie the TILE SIDE. The window section will sit to the wood side.

Well we finished the job

Wow. Good looking finishes. What type of tile flooring?

It's LVT
