Hypericum prolificum

I’m in z4, so most definitely deciduous here. Is this garden in full sun and do you have room for a deciduous flower factory, bee magnet plant?

In z7, it's an oddball. A few adult leaves do persist but there are numerous small leaves visible at nodes waiting to expand in spring. I wouldn't really call it evergreen, but there are leaves all winter for sure.

Thanks for your replies. I am working with a landscape company that specializes in natives for an area in the front of my house that was completely denuded in a house renovation. The house faces north so most of it is in shade but the bed extends beyond the end of the house & the area he designated for the St Johns Wort will be in sun. He has 3 of them there. Seems like a lot to me since they look like they get pretty big. In fact there are way more plants in the whole design than I expected. This is a Work in Progress & not something I am particularly good at so there will probably be a lot more questions.

This landscape company seems to be very busy so I appreciate being able to ask questions here. Thanks!

Barbara C, I'd love to see pictures when appropriate. I love the trends to include more native plants, and to reduce lawn sizes.
