I just had new hardwood installed in my kitchen which adjoins my living room and hallway. Living room and hallway were already hardwood, but they were sanded down and then all stained and finished to match. Now that we’ve lived with it for a couple of days I’ve noticed a few spots where there’s stuff in the finish. A couple of stray hairs, a few things that look like brush bristles, etc. is this normal? Surely it’s impossible for zero debris to fall into the wet finish. My hallway has several spots that look like grit or sand in them. I AM concerned about that, but am questioning if I should be concerned about the few hairs and bristles. I tried to take a picture but these issues aren’t showing up in them.
