Design - Remodel kitchen

Hi all, Looking for advice on a remodel. Replacing cabinets with a shaker style white cabinets to the ceiling on the outer, black for the island (not keeping the bookshelf). White quartz countertop all around. I’m considering moving the double oven to the opposite wall on the side of the fridge and putting the microwave in between with some drawers under. Garage is behind the fridge wall. Basement under is the utility room so not finished. I was thinking to build an appliance wall so that the fridge doesn’t stick out by itself (even if in a built in cabinet) and we have staggered cabinets to the left of it plus where the dbl ovens are now are next to the sliding glass to the patio. Putting a wine fridge under counter where dbl oven is now. Does anyone know how difficult to run a oven outlet to the new spot? I’ve seen pics of a smaller counter top between the fridge and oven but seems too small and not useful. Things we have bought so far: 30” cooktop, new double ovens, new microwave (moving from over stove). Considering Koehler White haven cast iron sink 36”- not sure double sink or single. I feel like I’m missing something in this design. I’d love to get rid of the closet by the fridge but that would involve contractors drywall and etc which my hubby isn’t cool about. Open for ideas. (Pay no attention to the messy kitchen - starting my garden)

Welcome!

A 2D/flat/overhead view with the widths of each wall/window/door/doorway and the distances between each wall/window/door/doorway clearly labeled is more useful. Could you please post the 2D view?

Not really, no real measurements are included on your pic. More like this:

If you have elevation layouts (see the starting/original post), do you also have a 2D layout with measurements?

First of all you have a beautiful kitchen. Just had to say that. Rather than have a very small counter between the fridge and double ovens, I'd go for a full wall of cabinets floor to ceiling on that wall. The fridge will feel even more built-in. I agree with you that a very small section of counter makes no sense.

you don't want to paint what you have and build some boxes on top?

what if you moved fridge to where double oven is now (encased in a cabinet) and move double oven to where fridge is, w/the wine fridge next to that? then your wall oven would be close to the stove top. you could do the micro in the island, or over by the wall oven. (and if doing only one wall oven, you could do a oven/micro combo, or put the micro above or below the oven. that's what I did w/mine)

basically your one side would have this layout

another visual, but this is a reverse layout to your space.

pretend this huge fridge is moved to the other side, and this spot becomes your wall oven/micro/wine fridge.

Here's one w/your wine fridge over by the sink, and the fridge on the other wall. You could do a range and forgo the wall oven. Or, just imagine the wall oven next to the fridge

On mine, I did the fridge, wall oven and micro next to each other

Thank you. Great options. There’s so much to think about!

I like Beth H's idea to switch the fridge and ovens, although there's good news and bad news. Good news is the fridge is no longer against the wall, so the door on the right will open fully, making it easy to remove the crisper for cleaning. Bad news is the ovens are in a traffic aisle--but when the oven door is open you can always yell, "Oven's open, stay out of the kitchen!" (Which is what I do when the grandkids are running around the house.)
