I would move the console over so it is between the light switches and the radiator, then it will be no problem to have a nice mirror over it. A bigger plant maybe in the corner by the window if needed once that is moved.

I need to shift the Decor but a quick look of your suggestion Cubby14 and I think it works. Perhaps a taller slimmer plant to the left and add decor to console. Thank you!

I like the console moved over there but not so sure about the plant. Can you take a picture of it without it? If it stays maybe you could set it on a small stool or stand to make it taller.

It may just be a matter or tweaking the position of the console without the plant.

Find some tall vertical art or a mirror to hang ABOVE IT. A framed "over the door" mirror and skip the Over the door components. Hang it. It will give you the perfect proportion. Cheap

How about a big standing mirror for the space? Now you don't worry about the light switch as well as the blank space

Maybe I am not judging the size correctly, but (based on the door handle) it seems that your 'console' table is very low and small (like a bench). A table that is shallow, but taller and a bit wider might suit the space better.

It is also worth note that moving a light switch is fairly easy and shouldn’t be too expensive even with a pro. Point is - don’t let that dictate your choices. Don’t let yourself spend a ton of money working around it when moving it is an easy option too. Good luck. Lots of good ideas here already.

Might be the angle, but I would try centering it on that wall using the front edge of the bottom step.as the imaginary right boundary.
