Yes, what you're seeing with the cabinets overlay designed to appear inset. I'm not sure if you were asking about beaded glass or bead-board. However, in either case, the answer is no.

The cabinetry is beautiful. We are in the process of building a home and trying to decide between true inset cabinets or the full overlay. This really looks inset! Do you have any more close ups of this cabinetry by chance?

Martha - you are a talented designer. What height are the tallest cabinet doors in this kitchen. I know the crown is 16 inches and the ceiling here is 10 feet. My kitchen will be 8'8" and I am wondering if I should take the cabinets to the ceiling or have a larger crown moulding. What is the tallest cabinet door you would recommend in determining the heights to use?

Oh how I wish you lived in my area! I sure do need help with my kitchen. I would like to mimic this look and am thinking that I should choose between these two doors. Any advice from anyone would be so very, very appreciated.
