Love the red blooms against your gray siding. I prefer more open and airy plantings like that rather than the mushroom shaped shrubbery. As for the house itself, much depends on how the rocks are applied. Filling in the deep recesses to make for a less defined look, and then painting them if that still doesn't suit you, might be helpful. If they are just an applied faux rock siding, removal might be doable, but will you find replacement siding to match the horizontal siding above? You might be opening a can of worms!

You might consider varying the color of the rocks a little: gray, darker gray, beige, tan, cream.

I think it looks great. If I were you I'd just put my feet up and enjoy.

For me, it is that small pop out window in front that is dated. I would consider a full set of windows across the front. I think the rock would blend right then. It's a pretty property.
