I wouldn't associate those gaps with foundation problems. There are more reliable indicators. The boards in last picture look like MDF or other material with surface treatment making them appear as real wood. That might explain the gaps. "IF" MDF had swelled due to high humidity before you bought place AND you began air conditioning the space,boards would shrink as moisture is pulled from them. How bout that for a wag? (;

Or there is moisture under the boards, since they are laid on a concrete basement floor. Many of those planks, are not recommended for basements. Its hard to say about yours, when we dont know what they are.

It's normal for wood to expand and contract slightly with heat/cold and humidity/dryness. If there was a crack in your foundation, you'd probably have moisture incursion and a crack in the walls. I'd follow the crack in the floor to the walls. Also, reread your inspection report or ask the inspector. Often, a phone call where he brings up the picture on his computer and states his opinion will do the trick.

The last photo sure looks like MDF that has gotten wet. Notice how it looks swollen along the seams.
