How to get rid of VOC paint painter used when not supposed to

We contracted with painter to paint with zero VOC paint but he used VOC paint and we are extremely allergic and sensitive to say the least. It is a house built in 1932 and it has lead under the paint. Painter made house uninhabitable. If we live there we will be very sick. We have nowhere else to live. Any suggestions? We want to get rid of the VOCs which would mean lead abatement and we would have to have another place to live during that work. Answers please.

A google search tells me to air out the house for a couple of weeks and repaint with non-VOC paint.

The no VOC paint does not stop the offgassing of VOC which goes on for years. Yes, one can air house but the VOC stays no matter how many fans and open windows one has. Any additional ideas would be great. Thank you.
