Have you fertilized them? A regular dose of a liquid fertilizer might help. I seem to remember that Wendy's Wish doesn't like HOT weather. Right now I have Love and Wishes doing really well; but I seem to recall that it didn't care much for the heat either.

Thanks Kate. I realized after you said it that this is Love and Wishes. I forgot the name. Maybe I need to move it. right now it gets morning shade and afternoon sun. I think maybe it needs morning sun and afternoon shade. The leaf edges actually look crispy. im in San Francisco and it really isn’t that hot here but maybe the afternoon sun is too much for it.

In SF I think afternoon sun would be fine. I'm in Fresno and it gets HOT! Afternoon sun fries a lot of plants. I'd try the fertilizer first. Mine is in a pot and so neeeds more attention than one in the ground would need, but they still seem tolike extra food.

Agree I almost killed Wendy’s Wish because I put her in the sun because, well, she’s a salvia. I grew her under a tree in a pot where she got huge ( over 3 feet). in the fall I moved her to a east facing fence next to a hydrangea. she doubled in width and got about 5 feet tall.

What fertilizer did you use?

I just used general Miracle Grow.
