drip edge fascia colors

I am gearing up to install oc estate gray shingles this weekend. I need to choose drip edge color and I am considering black. Am I crazy? Someday I will wrap fascia and redo the soffit. I like dark and earthy colors. Gutters are likely to be replaced.
