I’m working on a series of gardens around our cabin. To keep it from being too overwhelming I’m working on a section at a time. This first bit is a secret garden that you can only see from the overhead walkway or by a hidden path from the driveway. I’ve put in some beginning plantings.

Hostas, heuchea, some ginger and ferns. I think it needs something to look at maybe, a birdbath is an obvious option. But I’m open to suggestions.

Here is where you step in, the copper thing is a sprinkler and is about where I would put the focal point.

Here is the view from the walkway that is elevated at this point. The rock is actually more centered in the area.

A bottle tree is a traditional southern thing that could be fun. But like I said I’m open to suggestions.
