Debating on either porcelain or quartz material for our countertops and slab backsplash for our kitchen remodel. We like the marble look but are very picky about the colour and movement of the veining. Liked initially Cambria and Sapienstone. Doing a full height slab backsplash and a waterfall off the peninsula countertop.

Any experiences with porcelain that are negative? It seems to have a lot of benefits but read a review complaining about chipping around the sink when washing heavy pots, so now Im worried!
