Wilting of tomatoes is one common symptom of drowning. Is your bed well drained? Might dig in and see if it is muddy down below, leading to waterlogged roots. Then again, bacterial wilt is something that can happen with very wet soil.

I will go dig down a little bit and see. I thought it was pretty well drained, but haven't really had any rain since I planted in late April. It was a soil mix that had good reviews for the high temperatures in Arizona. It's probably about 40% coconut coir, 40% compost, and then I just topped it off with some potting mix. The mix did very well with temperatures over 100 degrees for 2-3 weeks straight with daily watering.

It rained really hard two days ago, and then another rain last night. Just noticed the wilting today.

I dug down a little more than half way and it does not seem overly wet or soggy at all. I will see what happens with the in next day or two.

Justin, I have been watching this Forum closely for tomato questions such as yours. I am a pro working on on a developing theory that may be important. Hopefully you will answer the following question, please. You mention that your soil mixture is about 40% compost. Is this a compost you make yourself which includes standard kitchen contributions of greenery and skins of fruits/vegetables, etc? If so, would you please detail those types of kitchen waste that you contribute to your composting process on a regular basis. Thanks.

Unfortunately it is compost I got in bulk from my City's compost program. They seem to make it mostly from people's yard trimmings, so there is no way for me to know the exact makeup. But if you need any more information feel free to ask.
