Look up "raspberry horntail." It's a wasp that lays eggs in raspberry canes and larvae travel up and feed on cane tips. Check if you have other symptoms that could be related to the wasp.

I think that is it! I do not think I am going to do anything, plant seems to grow enough. WOuld you do anything? It is on maybe 1/4 of larger tips - or less. not any new, smaller tips.
