I've gotten a few more quotes now. Loewen seems like a good option for big "glass walls". The Marvin and Milgard quotes I got didn't really fit what I want for those glass walls. Milgard has https://www.milgard.com/doors/moving-glass-wall-systems.

Did you look at the Marvin "Modern" line?

Not sure of your timeline, but i just ordered Marvin windows and they are really backed up - 5 months out minimum, ugh.

I've gotten quotes for Marvin from different distributors and they are substantially (50%) more expensive than other brands with the same performance. I've also heard about the long lead time.

I've also looked at reviews for la Cantina and there are a lot of bad reviews (structural failures, bad customer service).

I'm in Palm Springs CA area. Just got a quote for Fleetwood 3-Panel 15' wide x 10' tall slider. OXX. Aluminum, 366 Low-E Glass. Materials, Labor, Tax, Installation = $87,300. Additional $11,350 to add automation.

I placed an order with Zola a week ago. There's a ~5 month lead time. It'll get delivered by mid to late February 2022.

@rogerc, for the 28' wall, in Zola's Classic ALU75 series, it's roughly $30K (including a low SHGC package for Northern California code), excluding taxes and shipping.

@David H, That's quite a bit more reasonable than the Fleetwood quote I got, even without installation. Thanks, I'll check them out.

I highly recommend Nanawall. I have a 5-panel wall plus a 4-panel window above my kitchen bar leading to my deck. Great product! Energy bills are low, very secure and durable.

@arlady, We're also considering a row of tall windows above whichever glass wall opening we end up going with. Would you have a pic of your wall? Mind sharing the width and your cost?

I will send 3 images. I'm not sure the width, but will measure tonight. It's 5 door panels on my large wall and 4 panels on my window.

I think the total was around $25-$30K and it was in 2016.

Fleetwood. Western both mfg awesome aluminum. Just completed our third home with Fleetwood. @rogerc I've done two homes full of Fleetwood in that price range.

There could be a significant cost for the beam above with posts and footings to support. At this span we're usually at steel with a moment frame setup depending on how many walls remain for lateral structural values. The imaginary rectangle around this unit needs to be very stiff and inflexible.

Does anyone have any further comments on brands for the multi slide glass doors? We are considering multi slide glass doors for our house (for the great room out to the pool area). Our multi slide glass door will be XXXO with Length of 211 in (about 17.5 feet) and Height of 80 in (6 ft 8 in). We will replace a 3 panel sliding glass door and a window with a new XXXO multi slide glass door.

We have been reading that the wheels/rollers of the Andersen (3 inches in diameter) are the very best. IWC has 1 13/16 in wheels and are also really good. We want the best product we can get.

I answered on your other post and most are the same as I mentioned above in the thread. But having been in the industry for 40 years and I could never in conscious ever recommend anything Weathershield.

Stacking sliders are heavy glass w heavy frames & require precision track systems take more time and skill to install. (why they cost 2.5-5x more than standard). If you find the prices shocking install a standard 16'x6'8" 4 panel center open.

We've used Anderson Big Door line, Fleetwood, IWC's Keltic line, Western all with great experiences.

TIPS

Use the best rollers they have available if you have options.

Be careful of "flush" tracks if you are exposed to wind driven rain vs a wood floor (not a window warranty issue unless the track system matches the required local wind rating).

Big/deep overhangs are your friend
