Son is getting new carpet in his basement bedroom. Outside of his bedroom is a living area, but otherwise it is a low traffic area since it is the basement.

He wants gray carpet. I’m okay with that...Even though I realize our woodwork is very orange, and gray is not the perfect color based on the woodwork.

We have picked the carpet, but I‘m overwhelmed by the choices of gray. He likes the 2 darker grays at the bottom, shalestone and armory. I also like some of the lighter ones at the top.

His bedding is gray, but we have thought about getting him navy bedding, which I think would look better than gray bedding, gray walls and gray carpet. Right?

It is hard to make a decision based on these tiny samples. I’m trying to avoid an expensive mistake. Your input is appreciated.
