Beautiful! Do it. I think either bed would look beautiful, the first however would be my pick. Something a little more French looking about it which is what your wallpaper reminds me of.

The wall paper is a classic Napoleonic design that is clearly French in feel and both beds give me that look as well . I like the second bed best as it is not so predictable and does not make the room look like a period room but a nice mix that evolved over time. Doing the whole room in that paper would make teh room appear larger and cosier at the same time. Drapes will work very well in the room provided they are solid with a little embelishment on the leading edge for a great custom look. It appears to me that you have great taste and the room will come together well.

It's cute but I find its too young ? But taste is so personal. If you like it that is what is important especially in your bedroom !

I like the 2 beds and the colours go well together. I would find another wallpaper with delicate swirls in it...
