One of my peppers did something similar but it could have gotten a touch of Round Up on it. The lower leaves fell off and the upper leaves yellowed but it didnt die. for a while the blossoms fell off but now it is starting to recover and has tiny peppers on it. It is a Felicity pepper. I’m from Northern Indiana.

I got a picture of the plant. It's between 2 other pepper plants that are totally unaffected. When I first planted this plant, I thought I had broken it's stem, but it seemed to not be affected by it. Since the other plants beside it are doing fine, makes me wonder if something got into the wound initially. As you can see, it's growing peppers just fine..........if it can just keep some healthy leaves.

did you buy the plants or start from seed?

Thanks Donna. I'll check that article out. I bought them as small plants. I think they were Bonnie's. I just found it strange that the pepper plants on each side of it show now sign of this problem. And it's interesting that this affected plant is growing peppers just fine. Thanks again!
