Hello! We’re in the middle of a kitchen remodel and I have to tell the tilers how far up I want to have the backsplash go. We tried to save money by just keeping existing cabinets and repainting them later. Unfortunately, that means the cabinets have a weird space above them. Do I tile to the bottom of the cabinets, to the ceiling, or to the top of either the right door frame or the top of the cabinets? Oh, and we’re planning on adding a couple open shelves to the right of the cabinets. So, I could also tile up to the bottom of one of the shelves. HELP!
