. Several things that I have bagged to protect from the birds have not produced seed OR the seeds look questionable. I'll save some to test but not looking good enough to share.

Hi, Annie & Everyone in FOTESS -

Good to see you. Annie, I am not totally moved. Everything would not fit on the truck and the business I used will not send a load the size that I have now since it won't fill a truck so I'm trying to figure this out. These are things that have to be moved and all I can say is I'm not driving a rental truck to get them here so I'm not sure how I will get this done. Wish me luck. I went back to Lexington for about 5 days to do more sorting, packing and cleaning. Just returned yesterday and I'm worn out. There is no furniture there so 4 nights of sleeping on the floor and the only place to sit was a lawn chair. My dog came with me so at least I had some company.

Also, Annie, thanks for taking care of the month of October. I know it will be fun.

Melinda, I really thought my seeds were in Lexington and they were not. I will be late sending, but I won't forget. I'm sorry for the delay. Thank you for being so understanding. I thought I would see them in my study closet where there were kept, but the closet had been packed and moved. Which box? I have no idea.

Annie!!! Totally wonderful to hear from you. You and Maggie have been on my mind a lot this summer.

Jeannie, that moving the "left overs" is a real dilemma. Do you have one of those "Two Men and a Truck " businesses in either location Or the u hauls that will do a rent a truck and two college students????

I'm just dropping by to say hi. I love the cooler weather and I love fall, even though it means saying goodbye to many flowers. Now I'm saving seeds--so the addiction lives on! Still the same crazy life. I got a new (used) mower which doesn't plug up every 3 seconds and doesn't automatically shut off every 20 minutes. I also got one of those rhumba things that sweeps across the carpet and it's great for dog hair! I see your bingo game is very tense. Good luck! Heidi

Good morning. Ad an unexpected thunder storm last night. Glad the mums are filling the garden. Amy yea got your great seed package. Dwarf lemon basil sounds so good. Lettuce is always welcome in my garden . the seashell color will be a pleasure next year. Also got a package from Beth called bees friend.looking forward to this new flower. I wish I could plant now!!!

Bees Friend was one of my new favorites the past two summers from my winter sown seeds. It is very popular with the bees here and seems quite easy to grow. Hope it does well for you too. That was for your Bees Buzzing photo

Just, FWIW ( For What It's Worth) I would not do another two month swap. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but I surely have had some better ones from time to time

My swap package/seeds was mailed and HAS been accounted for, HOWEVER... I am still waiting on my seeds swap to arrive, no communication yet about anything BUT ... I WILL post/update again, if or when anything shows up.

It feels and looks like fall has arrived overnight and I am ready to be finished with the summer chores. Cold windy, rainy and leaves all over the yard. Not the sort of fall day that makes you want to go picnicking or hiking. Perfect day for a pot of beans and corn bread and dreaming of Thanksgiving feasts. NO wonder I gain weight every winter. LOL.

Susan if medical issues forced you to go "slow" for 2 years your body will need to be lead in slow easy steps to pick up again. That is a tough challenge. Even well trained military men and astronauts lost strength and muscle mass when put onto bedrest for 6 weeks (this was an experiment).

Sounds like you are sleeping more, but are you sleeping well (soundly)? Not trying to be nosey but it sounds like you need some help getting started again. Do you have family nearby to help and to do things with?

Susan, I am not a medical person but the symptoms you are experiencing go with some thyroid conditions. If your thyroid level has not been checked recently, I would mention that to your doctor. I hope you feel better soon.

Patient Melinda is still waiting for my seeds but the good news is there were some plants in my SC garden that had seeds ready to harvest so I brought them back with me and will mail soon. I'm so sorry to be so late sending these to you, Melinda.

Melinda, Flower seeds from my SC garden were finally mailed to you today. I hope you enjoy them. They always grew well for me there. I was just happy to see that a few plants had not lost all of their seeds yet when I drove down last week. Again, so sorry to be late with them.
