IMO a pantry is just a bigger cabinet and BTW I dislike walk in corner pantries they waste space and IMO with a new kitchen why redo the layout too The layout you have is not ideal and IMO only if you love everyhing about this kitchen should you spend money on a kitchen that could be better . Having cabinets painted is expensive and so are all the other changes you are making. Post a to scale floor plan and see what others think could be better . As for the pantry door it should match the rest of your cabinets IMO.

Ok but if you’re keeping the pantry how about encasing the entire wall in paneling that compliments your cabinetry. Then you could really disguise your pantry and have it open with a push of a finger

I prefer the suggestions to disguise, there is a stack on the right side, inside the pantry that would be problematic to reconfigure.
