Best way to replace these windows?

Hey everyone!

I just need some suggestions on the best way to replace my windows. I currently have aluminum/steel windows as in pictures and want to replace them with vinyl windows.

Is it possible to replace using retrofit windows or must I use new construction windows and replace the entire frame? Which method of installation will be best in my situation?

From just the pictures, your windows look like bronze anodized aluminum not steel. Whole different animal. And, yes you can use retrofits but see the product and the installation as it isn't for everyone nor is it right in all applications.

From the exterior picture, it looks like a relatively easy and cleaner install if you use finned window. A little more expensive but worth it.
