Different AC condenser sizes

Hello. Coming up on a year in our new build.

Our home is 3000 sq ft and has almost the square footage on each of the two floors so approximately 1500 sq ft.

I’ve been wondering since day one, with the HVAC units, specifically the condensers outside the house are two different sizes. One is noticeably larger than the other. I counted vents on each floor. First floor has 8 (all in the floor) and second floor as 9 (all in the ceiling). They never installed a air vent in the second floor laundry room (all interior walls) or in the first floor powder room (one wall is against the two car garage wall).

If the square footage is roughly the same on each floor, should the condenser units be the same size?

Does anyone happen to know if it is normally not to put air vents in rooms mentioned above?
