Can you post the measurements form what I see the obvious is to place the bed opposite the patio doors that is not putting your feet at the entry door which is in my understanding a bad place for a bed Treat this patio door like a window.

My concern is that if I place it opposite of the patio doors then my headboard would be in line with the door opening.

Well according to feng shui principles you shouldn’t along the headboard to the door. But I am open to it. I have many issues sleeping so I am just trying to make sure the bedroom is peaceful and harmonious.

I was thinking about the wall right when you walk in and thinking perhaps I should change the door swing. I am not sure. It’s a bit tricky.

Try the bed across the French doors first.
It’ll make the room feel airier and more peaceful.

Choose light furniture with textured accents. It’ll look beautiful!!!

Put pocket or sliding doors (barn doors most popular now but you can do others) where the bathroom door is and I agree with the others putting it across from the French doors.

This example is beautiful! I would love to do a pocket door but it’s a bit expensive especially with how tight everything is when you first buy a house. However a pocket door would be perfect.

I had barn doors in my old home and I didn’t like them after awhile. What about changing the swing of the bathroom door to open up right?

Also would I put the dresser on the wall to the left when I walk in, correct?

The door swing is perfect, honestly put the bed on the long wall centered opposite the French doors and live with it. This is nearly exactly my bedroom layout and I've never slept better.

You can leave the door as is and it should be fine. Yes, I would put the dresser on the well to the left as you walk in the room.

My bedroom has the same layout. Headboard on same wall as entry to the bedroom, footboard faces slider to patio. Sometimes it’s the best solution despite feng shui rules.
