I am thrilled for the West! May you continue to be blessed. In a lot of the Northeast, we've had more than enough blessings, 10 inches in July, 10 inches in August and 12 inches in September. Local weather forecasters are announcing a deficit of rain for October and I wanna scream. We've already had 52-55 inches of rain for the calendar year. I need a new ROOF!. Really? Deficit? I don't understand how California manages to survive, we go a few days in NJ without rain and there are red flag warnings and brushfires breaking out. I don't get it.

They say it's going to be a La Nina year, but that doesn't mean less rain, it just means warmer.

The western storms have now moved into the plains and are on my doorstep. We're supposed to get 2-3" in the next couple days.

gjcore went to Yosemite a few weeks ago. Totally smoky, no waterfalls, big disappointment!

Rained the day after we left. Some friends were there and it was clear and some waterfalls were making an appearance!

had some rain last week but has been dry in SOCA again. No rain in sight this coming week. Sigh

They keep saying atmospheric rivers, but we get 1-3".....Which is just fine with me! Less threat of slides in the fire scars! Gives the land some time to soak up the rain!

In North County San Diego, we got 1.5 inch on Fri, 0.25 on Sat, and still drizzling/raining!

It's been mostly raining and drizzlilng for days now. Having the water/snow is great, but I have to admit that I'm really getting tired of the dark days.

Getting longer every day! I love it when I start noticing the days getting longer!
