Does this backsplash look too short?

Does this look right to you?

We had Azul Platino granite counters installed with a 3/8" roundover edge and 4" backsplash. We have a cabinet between the stove and a doorway, and in this place you can see the edge of the backsplash meeting the counter. To me, it looks like the backsplash does not continue far enough to the edge of the counter and there is a weird gap, but I can't tell if it's supposed to be like that because of the rounded edge. As in, it looks funny to me but there's nothing they can do about it because continuing the backsplash further would make it unstable since the supporting counter would be rounded instead of flat (horizontal). I hope that makes sense. I've included pictures but let me know if a different angle would be helpful.

The granite installers are returning tomorrow to fix some rough seams they left during the initial install. I'm trying to be prepared for how to tackle pointing this out to them. I keep noticing it and it looks really bad to me. Would appreciate opinions/knowledge of others. Thank you.
