I purposed did not place a door to the laundry room in our new build. Now I would like to paint the cabinetry in the mudroom a different color than the laundry room. Is that a bad idea? So far I'm thinking pigeon from farrow and ball for the laundry room, or something a little more blue - think fun farmhouse kitchen look, and something darker, like a dark blue in the mudroom, with punch metal screens in some of the doors. Attached a marked photo, looking through the kitchen pocket door, laundry room on the right with a large 10' cabinet next to the garage door, mudroom on the left with lockers on both walls, cabinets above and a set of drawers and doors.
