I also received a beautiful card from Jeanne, a red pick up truck with a Christmas Tree adorned with glittery bulbs on its way to make my Christmas merrier and it did! And I love the Gingerbread word search. When I get things wrapped up here I will enjoy a little time for myself and will enjoy solving it then.

The concert was amazing! I had a great time.

His entire group did solos and all of them are amazing musicians. Such talent! Kenny G doesn’t seem to age either and he started the show walking down playing from the back of the audience towards the stage and even stood on a chair and played for a few minutes. He held a note for almost 4 minutes! He has a new album out, the first in 6 years. It’s a good one! Aren’t they all? I am posting a couple of pics to share with all of you.

After being in the hospital for 9 days, so thankful to be home. I was able to get out all my cards yesterday and I will post pics of the ones I received later today. All my awesome gardening friends truly lifted my spirit during this difficult time. I have a ways to go, but feeling stronger each day! Was so excited to come home and see my moms Christmas cactus in bloom I have been trying to get it to bloom for 6 years.

Thank you Kim K for the beautiful Christmas Card with the owl wearing a Santa hat, perched in a tree happily chatting with a cardinal, at least that is what I thought when I saw it. The tree has glistening ornaments and candy canes and there is snow falling in the night sky. What a nice sentiment inside too. It reads: The Magic of Christmas never ends and its greatest gifts are family and friends.

This is so true and I am so greatful for you Kim and I hope you are feeling much better. I am so glad you are home now to enjoy the holidays. Your mom's Christmas cactus is just beautiful. They always say to neglect them a bit to encourage bloom so your time away must have been the inspiration for it to bloom after all these years!

Thank you for the lovely seed gifts of White Rose of Sharon, Cheyenne Spirit Coneflowers, and Double Dutch Rose Cosmos you included also. I will be winter sowing these soon and can't wait to see them sprout and grow in my garden. I don't know how you knew, but I had the Double Dutch on my list of "must grow" and I know it will be especially beautiful in bloom. I can't wait for Spring! Merry Christmas!!

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas day. We visited four of our five kids and their families the past two weeks. We were to have dinner with our youngest and his wife yesterday but darn if they didn’t come down with covid. They’ve been vacinnated but not boostered. She had it mild but it knocked our son down. Hubby and I had our dinner then took some over to them to drop off on the porch. We were able to see them through the window at least and what a relief to see my son was actually up.

Weather is crazy here. I’m winter sowing and hoping it gets cold enough at some point. Yesterday, we broke a record high and tomorrow will almost be 70!

I have my idea for January’s swap and will be posting on the 1st so keep an eye out! Time to party. Margo

I want to start some seeds as well. Have everything I need just have to get busy. Sorry to hear your Son has covid. Prayers for a speedy recovery. Looking forward to our January swap.

Great 2021 Christmas card/seed swap. Thank you Ladies for all you do to make this a fun swap and we can keep up with each other. Prayers for all who need it. I am a caregiver for a sweet little lady who is 98 and I work Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. We think another worker may have Covid so I will be working tonight as well. If you know me I cannot sit still so only 2 1/2 hrs until she goes to bed then I go to bed I wake in the morning and I go home. She is so precious and we all love her dearly. When I get home I am ready to work outside/hike/clean house or whatever. Works perfectly for me.

Seed catalogs are arriving and I know I want a lot of zinnias. They bloom non-stop until frost once they start blooming.
