Exciting! i haven’t heard much about the Little Giant HP yet. I only have the T1 dryer, and it isn’t noisy. Which part of the cycle is loud for you? Mine does hum, especially toward the end/ cool down part if the cycle. I think that is the HP itself. The noise became more noticeable after we changed the conductivity setting for the super soft water here. The spin is impressively quiet even at 1600 rpm. I would imagine the LiGi has the same or better, so maybe it’s an install problem.

Also: can you describe where it is located? I can barely hear mine in the adjacent rooms, if the door is closed. But I have plaster walls.

Oh, then call the installer! Like I said, I’m not familiar with the LiGi, but my Miele HP dryer doesn’t make noise unless you put something with buckles in it. Good luck!

HP dryers use more airlfow (along with the dehumidifying unit) to get things dry. My guess is that with a commercial grade dryer (and the speed wanted to get things dry) there is more airflow with a commercial grade blower . You will hear that airflow

I called Miele today. This dryer unit operates ~70DB. When I checked the noise level it’s within spec. I’ll not worry about it anymore and just enjoy the new machines 😃
