After purchasing the Airthings Wave device (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JB8QWH6) I've learned that radon levels are on average around 3 or so, with spikes to 7, 8 at times. While not overly concerned with the risk, I'd like to reduce levels, given the work from home these day (working in the basement). The quote received for a professionally installed mitigation system with a 10 year warranty is around 2k.

Are there any other cost effective alternatives to reduce levels of radon, even if not to the levels that a system will do?
