We are thinking of adding a runner in our entryway hallway to protect the hardwood floors since we notice a lot dulling and dirtying especially in winter months with salt from snow, etc. should i just match the runner on the stairs? or match the rug thats in the living room directly next to the hallway (which is what I recently got but feeling unsure about it so not secured down).
