HI,

My garage is slab on grade. It has a new swing door with a 2" step down to the ground which is is covered in gravel. Do I need to build a landing? I'm in California. We're having major problems with contractor so trying to take tasks away and get to final inspection. We'll redo the backyard soon and would rather just have backyard guys deal with this but after final.
