I would remove it, if possible. If not, perhaps use the tv space as a bookshelf. Add a secret storage space behind the bookshelf? :)

Thanks for the suggestions! Wouldn’t it look odd to remove it? Here’s a picture from the entrance. Fireplace on the left, and tv on the right:

You are concerned that the end pieces of both the tv and fireplaces create a symmetrical entry into the living room? I’d ask the designers what to do with the one side if you remove the tv side.

Yeah, I’m concerned about the symmetrical look from the entry if I remove it.

Perhaps you can remove the one TV area and just leave the fireplace area. It might give you more space and allow you to more interior design.

I'd remove it. You don't need the symmetry and a wider entry will look better.

100% remove it. it looks super weird right next to that other fireplace.

I appreciate symmetry and would prob consider removing both the TV nook and the fireplace
