Mixing Black and Chrome - What color for glass shower header/hardware

We are remodeling our master bathroom and are mixing finishes. Our shower head and shower handles are chrome as well as our sink faucets. Our towel rods and trim around the shower (and shower niche) are matte black. Our shower wall tiles are 12x24 medium/dark gray with charcoal grout. Would chrome or matte black be better for the glass shower hardware/header/bottom channel? Thanks for your thoughts!

I agree I envision black, but don't think chrome would be awful.

On a practical front, do you have hard water? I know black shows spots easier. Also since shower glass is a pretty significant investment and chrome has been a standard, well-performing finish for a long time, I feel like it may perform more practically than the black.

Great point. We do have hard water which is why we went with a chrome shower head, etc. We just remodeled our hall bathroom as well and used chrome everywhere. I researched and purchased Flitz faucet polish and that seems to be helping with spotting, etc. Hoping it would work with the matte black finish as well.
