Need backsplash help by tomorrow!

So, our Neolith is getting replaced with marble and they are templating tomorrow. We originally went with a 2 inch miter all around but don’t love how chunky it looks at the sink area and also are concerned the fabricator may not do a great miter (hence why Neolith is getting ripped out and my contractor is using same fabricator). Our slab is 3cm/one inch. If I go down to an inch, what should I do about the backsplash. It’s new and I can’t rip out. Would a smaller row of tile like at the top of the splash look terrible at the bottom? Should I do a 1 inch marble backsplash. By the sink area it will still be marble unless I pivot and do tile there too which is an option.
